Ingredients
  1. 4 eggs
  2. 50 grams jam
  3. 750 ml milk
  4. 8 slices bread
  5. 1 pinch nutmeg
  6. 50 grams castor sugar
  7. 50 grams butter

Instructions
  1. Mix eggs with the milk and castor sugar until blended.
  2. Butter each slice of bread with jam.
  3. Lay the slices down in the tray side by side and add the next layer.
  4. Pour egg mixture over the tray of bread.
  5. Leave it sit for about 30 minutes.
  6. Bake in a moderate oven for 20 - 30 minutes.
  7. Lightly sprinkle the nutmeg on top to serve.
