Tuna Pasta Bake

Ingredients
  1. 1 can tinned tuna
  2. 1 packet pasta
  3. 1 medium onion, diced
  4. ⅓ bunch celery, diced
  5. 1 litre milk
  6. 2 tablespoons margarine
  7. ⅓ cup plain flour
  8. 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  9. Handful of grated cheese

Instructions
  1. Cook the pasta in a pot of salted boiling water (approx. 10 minutes).
  2. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  3. Mix the tuna, pasta and veggies in a bowl and then tip into a large oiled baking dish.
  4. In a small pot, heat the milk.
  5. In another pot melt the margarine, add the flour and cook for 4 minutes, mixing well. This will cook out the flour and prevent the floury texture in your mouth and helps to smooth the white sauce.
  6. Slowly add the hot milk to the margarine and flour mix whilst stirring.
  7. Continue to stir over ad medium heat until the bubble start to appear.
  8. Season to your liking.
  9. Pour the white sauce over the tuna pasta and spread a little.
  10. Top with grated cheese and breadcrumbs.
  11. Bake for 20 minutes until slightly brown on top.
  12. Serve and enjoy.
