Anglicare NQ operates many programs and services across North Queensland with activities extending south to Townsville, and Airlie Beach and north to Cairns and the Tablelands, the Cape and the Torres Strait. Together, as one team, we aim to support individuals of all ages and backgrounds to have empowered, full and active lives, with equity for all.

As an organisation, we are committed to addressing systemic social disadvantage in Australia. This commitment is reflected in our diverse range of programs and services, spanning from immediate crisis support to longer-term support. Our focus involves assisting individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness, and children residing in our non-family-based residential care, we offer diversionary support, actively assist young people in their journey towards independence, offer educational and training initiatives, and our community outreach team provide affordable food and clothing and facilitate emergency relief.
