Liz Colahan
Chief Executive Officer
Liz joined Anglicare NQ in April 2022, bringing over 30 years of experience in the human services sector across both government and non-government roles. Her leadership is centred on building a strong Community of Practice to advocate for a fair and just society, particularly for the most vulnerable. With expertise as a leader, manager, and practitioner, Liz emphasises the importance of strong governance structures shaped by the voices of those the organisation supports. A passionate advocate for reconciliation, she is committed to embedding these principles throughout all levels of Anglicare NQ.
Andrew Hay
Chief Financial Officer
Andrew has been Chief Financial Officer at Anglicare NQ since September 2021. He oversees Finance, IT, Asset Management, Marketing, and Communications, and serves as Company Secretary, supporting the Board in governance and strategy.
With over 30 years of experience in senior financial and executive roles across not-for-profits, hospitality, and local government, Andrew brings valuable leadership to Anglicare NQ.
Andrew Brackman
Executive Manager Policy, People & Culture
Andrew joined Anglicare NQ in 2022 and oversees Human Resources, Work Health and Safety, and policy development.
With more than 20 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector, he brings a wealth of expertise in homelessness services, community programs, and corporate strategy. Andrew’s leadership is instrumental in shaping the organisation’s approach to policy and fostering a supportive workplace culture that prioritises the wellbeing and development of staff.
Evan Martin
Executive Manager Housing & Homelessness
Evan has worked with Anglicare NQ in various roles since 2008. He oversees Housing and Homelessness programs to improve outcomes for those at risk. He is committed to ensuring access to safe housing, supports and essential services for vulnerable individuals.
As a local, Evan brings a strong cultural and advocacy perspective to his role and is deeply committed to supporting First Nations communities.
Shirley Pevitt
Executive Manager Practice Lead
Since joining Anglicare NQ in 2000, Shirley has held various roles and now oversees the implemention of best practices across the organisation, ensuring a supportive environment for both clients and staff.
A leader who values integrity, kindness, and accountability, Shirley is dedicated to fostering collaboration, building trust, and driving positive change that creates lasting, meaningful outcomes for the community.
Reverend Roby Babu
Executive Manager Public Intoxication & Youth Services
Reverend Roby joined Anglicare NQ in 2021. He oversees the Youth Support Program, Cairns Education, Training and Employment, Non-Family-Based Residential Care, and Public Intoxication services and he serves as a Deacon at St. John Anglican Church in Cairns under the Anglican Diocese of North Queensland.
Roby is a social worker and theologian with over 23 years of experience in Child Protection, Disability, and Public Intoxication.
Andrew Dwyer
Executive Manager Community Services Northern Region
Andrew joined Anglicare NQ in 2024. He oversees Non-Family-Based Residential Care, Townsville, Education, Training and Employment Program and Public Intoxication services, in Anglicare NQ’s Northern Region.
Andrew has over 18 years of leadership experience in private, for-purpose, and government organisations including seven years of executive and board experience in the Human Services sector.
